Jorge’s Communities Fund:
Activating communities & making sustainability education accessible for all

Social inequality is a large part of climate change, and as such we aim to provide equal opportunities for all to get involved in the work we do. Therefore we have set up a scheme (named after Jorge the chief mascot) whereby all bookings include an opt-out 5% Community Fund contribution.

This is a ‘pass-it-on’ scheme whereby all contracts we undertake collectively contribute to sustainable education in schools, local institutions and community groups who could otherwise not afford to get involved, in place of making profit. We also match this with contributing our time for delivery and materials required.

This can contribute to your CSR and ESG targets and in particular will have a positive impact on UN SDGs;

  • 4 Quality Education,

  • 11 Sustainable Cities & Communities, and

  • 13 Climate Action.

We can tailor where your contribution is used if you have a particular impact focus, and data on the impact of your contribution will be provided in due course once the recipient’s workshop has taken place.

Impact where it matters

How it works

  1. We add 5% onto the subtotal of your invoice.

  2. This money is moved into a designated fund pot.

  3. Schools, community groups and organisations can apply for full or partial funding from this pot to enable our immersive training to take place in their organisation.

  4. We provide you with information about where your donation has gone to be included in your CSR reporting. Where possible we will provide any available and approved demographic information, quotes from participants and other supporting evidence*.

  5. If you’d like to increase your CSR impact even more you can either increase your donation and/or we can create a targeted audience based on a certain location, demographic or cause.

*Due to the nature of working with charities, children and vulnerable people this may not always be possible, We will confirm the data to be collected once it is confirmed where your funds will be assigned.
